Power of Attorney

We have noted an increase in demand for Powers of attorney.

The Power of Attorney serves a dual purpose and allows a third party to manage your affairs either if you authorise them to do so or more importantly if you should lose the mental ability to make your own decisions.

In the absence of a Power of Attorney,an application has to made to the court to appoint a guardian and the process involved is expensive and cumbersome and can take the control of a persons estate away from the party they may have wished to take care of their affairs
